We are pleased to express our feelings about our primary care physician, Dr. Marcia Kling. For our part we have established a great relationship with Dr. Kling. She is not only effective with the way she medically treats us, but also is someone we have come to trust over the years. She often comes down to our level as laypeople to explain things to us, so it is understandable, but she also knows how to be more than a doctor. She is a friend that we feel confident to confide in. She always has time to not only talk about medical issues but also finds the time to talk to us on a personal level. Being an older couple it is not easy to cover the quarterly fees, but the thought of not having her at our side is honestly scary. We could not ask for a better Doctor! I wish there were more people just like her or perhaps she could be cloned into an army of Dr. Klings!!!

“I recently underwent a multiple level cervical spine fusion after experiencing severe debilitating pain in my neck and down both arms. My family doctor ( Dr Marcia Kling) promptly recommended a spine surgeon who was very approachable and after only a couple of weeks of tests and scans he performed surgery at Troy Beaumont. Dr Kling visited me in hospital every day both before and after the surgery. She coordinated with the surgeon and his team and made me feel like I was her only patient despite the fact that I know she has hundreds of patients to whom she gives the same excellent care and attention. Not only does Dr Kling provide exceptional service and medical support but she also only refers her patients to specialists who are themselves excellent doctors. My recovery has been very good and Dr Kling has been an integral part of that success. She is one of only a few doctors who visit their patients in hospital and she is always attentive despite what for her must be a very busy schedule. I am very grateful to have Marcia Kling as my doctor. She spots problems quickly and responds with caring, talented, effective treatment. If there’s a doctor of the year award she should get it hands down!”

Dr. Marsha Kling has been our family doctor for years, and has saved me from serious complications on notable occasions. I was having vision troubles in my right eye, and she found a 90% blockage in my right carotid artery, sent me to Dr. Steven Rimar in Troy, MI, who removed the blockage without any complications. Dr. Kling has worked with me to find medications for my diabetes and blood pressure that don't cause my body to ache like a wine hangover, which I think is due to sulfites, as my previous doctor, Michael Sullivan, suspected and cured by avoiding sulfite food preservatives. My wife gives her credit for her thoroughness, as she found cholesterol and thyroid problems which she is managing.
